Hi, I am Nicole Lehr, owner of Purity Spa & Wellness. I am a Licensed Nail Technician and a Licensed Master Esthetician. I am also a licensed Nail Technician Instructor and an Esthetics Apprenticeship Sponsor with the state of Virginia. I opened Purity in 2016 after the spa I worked with closed its doors. Devastated and scared, I was unsure of what to do. I decided to take the leap. I partnered up with a LMT to open Purity. Together we were a Day Spa. With a three-week notice, we found a place to rent, purchased all of our equipment and supplies, all while wrapping up our positions with our former employer. We were stressed ladies, but we opened our doors just two days after our former job ended.

Since opening Purity in May of 2016, I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Triple Negative Breast Cancer in 2018, while raising my two young children, then ages 3 and 7. I received 16 rounds of chemo, 30 rounds of radiation, multiple surgeries all while growing a less than 2-year-old business and trying to keep normalcy for my children at home. In January 2020, I went through a business divorce with my former business partner, a month later the world shut down and I was left to endure a pandemic on my own. Since 2020, I have grown my business from a one woman show to a collection of 9 likeminded therapists that I feel is a privilege to work alongside. Our focus has developed more into a wellness center than day spa leading to our name change in 2022, becoming Purity Spa & Wellness. 

I am a forever learner. I have been developing and growing my Esthetics craft, focusing on Advanced Holistic Facial Massage techniques for the last18 years, specifically focusing on the Lymphatic System. I hold certifications in Facial Cupping, Facial Gua Sha, Thai Poultice for the face and neck, Connective Tissue Facial Massage and the Dr. Vodder method of Manual Lymphatic Drainage for the Face and Neck. I am still in the treatment room two days a week while running the business behind the scenes the other five :). The last few years I have helped other business owners and professionals open their doors, growing their business and or to discover their own worth as a service provider/business owner. Helping them discover what they want for their own business/career. So, I decided to make one-on-one coaching and workshop sessions available on our menu.
